Elon Musk Accuses 'Ukraine Area' of Cyber Attack on X Platform

In a recent interview with Fox Business, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X, pointed to ‘Ukraine area’ as a possible source behind a massive cyber attack that took down his social media platform. During the discussion, host Larry Kudlow asked Musk to explain the prolonged downtime of X earlier in the day.

‘I don’t think we know exactly what happened yet,’ Musk said during the interview. ‘But there was a significant cyber attack targeting the X system with IP addresses originating from the Ukraine area.’

When Kudlow responded by saying, ‘So that’s your suspicion,’ Musk confirmed his suspicions about the source of the attack.

Earlier in the day, Musk had made headlines for calling Senator Mark Kelly (D-AR) a ’traitor’ after Kelly visited Ukrainian forces fighting against Russia. The move was widely criticized and sparked further controversy around Musk’s public statements.

The cyber attack on X has raised concerns about the security of social media platforms and their vulnerability to such incidents. As investigations continue, questions remain about the exact nature and source of the attack, as well as the potential consequences for both X and its users.
